With custom made detection hardware, a high brightness source and a state of the art color navigation camera, this unit balances the performance of a powerful high end electron microscope with unparalleled speed and ease of use.

Designed from the ground up, this system not only acquires high resolution images unmatched by competitors but allows for the user to perform a number of analyses including particle and fiber analyses and 3D roughness reconstruction. Phenom ProX:

The Phenom ProX is a high performance SEM designed for imaging and analysis. Like the Phenom Pro, the ProX is capable of analyzing the physical structure of samples and their elemental composition. On top of that, the ProX is equipped with a fully integrated Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) alongside an elemental identification software package.

Phenom microscopes are designed to be easy to use, produce images in a quick manner, and deliver images with a quality unmatched among other benchtop SEMs. The Phenom ProX can be upgraded with an assortment of analytical packages, an SED, and numerous sample holders designed for a variety of applications. Because of its unique column design, most samples are not susceptible to the charging effect and therefore a gold coater is not required.

Phenom XL:

The Phenom XL combines the ease of use and superior imaging of any Phenom system while pushing the limits of a benchtop SEM. Designed for large sample and high throughput, the XL allows for samples sizes up to 100mm x 100mm or up to 36 x 12 mm stubs. Even with its enhanced stage size, this instrument still ensures the fastest vent/load time in its class.

The XL, like the Pro  and ProX, is upgradable with the same analysis and detector options. It’s durable and compact design allows for the XL to be used in any environment and does not require a dedicated and specialized facility for operation.  As with all Phenom SEMs, every component of the XL, from the source to the vacuum, is virtually maintenance free allowing you to acquire crisp, clean pictures without fail.
